Patience is your friend, anew1. Moderators and Admin of the forum are extremely busy, and donate their time here to providing us with such a wonderful place to be. Remember, they are NOT paid to be here and help us, they do this out of the kindness of their hearts so we can have this community available to us. Patience really is the best form of respect you can provide those who keep our community here alive :)

Oh I do understand.  My problem is that all I am asking is that my new password for my old username be sent to be via a private message and not to the registered email address as I no longer use that address.  The new password was sent to this email and I no longer have any log in details for that email.  So I am not asking for much.  Merely that I get a private message with the new password.  I am unable to send messages to the Admin/Moderators with this new username so I cannot give you my new email address.

You may not realize it, but you actually ARE asking a lot.

You are asking admin (Turquoise) to give you the password to an account that you cannot prove is yours (at least you have not done so, so far). If you cannot prove in some way that the account youre asking the password for is actually YOURS, youre in fact asking for the password to an account that you CLAIM is yours. Anyone can CLAIM a dormant (not-been-used-for-while) account is theirs, but unless they can prove it, how can admin know its actually true?

Is there a way for you to prove that the account you want the password for is actually yours? Is there some sort of information that Turquoise can use to exclude anyone and everyones else as the owner of that account?

Did the account youre asking the password for post pictures of finished crafts that you can provide new (NEW) pictures of, for example?

I am not saying that I doubt you (nor am I saying I believe you), I am merely trying to explain to you how difficult it is for an admin to know that your claim is legit.

Well I find it very strange that for some reason I cannot access my old account anymore.  I am not a liar nor a fraud.  But I am not the only one who has had this problem.  So I registered a new username with a number attached to my old username and requested someone assist me in getting my old username back.    I am not sure how you can ask me to prove it when I do not have access to that old email address.  I can gladly give you the old email address without any problem but it cant be accessed because I no longer have the phone number that was attached to that email address.  But yes I know which charts I uploaded and can give you a list but how do you want me to do that.  I will name a few : Bethlehem Silhouettes IIA; DMC- Personal Delivery; DMC-Toy Shop Window; Janlynn - Sewing Ornaments; Bucilla - Train Through the Mountains; Paula Vaughan - Now I lay me Down.
