Hi all, so I had a stroke years ago that affected my left side. I can grip, but dont have much dexterity so no two handed stitching. Anyone have any tips for adaption? I currently just use a qsnap held in my bad hand.

I have had problems on and off being able to hold my hoop or qsnap with my left hand due to carpal tunnel plus. I solved the issue with a floor stand. I can use my left hand to steady and move but dont need to count of it to do everything thanks to a simple wood floor stand that is very adjustable and can hold a hoop, qsnap or even a scroll frame. Found it on eBay about 17 years ago and I love it. There are also lap stands which can do the same and they are held in place by your legs. Hope this helps! Wishing you lots of luck with this and your health in general :)

I use a floor stand also to save my left hand from holding the frame or hoop.  Q-snaps can be heavy.  I balance the Q-snap on the arm of my chair, so the stand doesnt have to hold all of the weight and I do take the
frame/hoop out of the stand when Im done for the evening.

I sold all my X stitch stuff and started doing a different form of art.
