BRIOCHE: Whats the Big Deal?

Hi Lovely People!

In the last few years, Ive seen a lot of Brioche patterns and classes come about.  Ive started a Craftsy class on Brioche.  Ive practiced doing Brks and Brps.  Ive practiced casting on.  Ive seen lots of Brioche patterns.  I dont get it.  Why is Brioche so popular?  I admit, I love the squishy feel of Brioche fabric, however, Fishermans Rib looks similar to Brioche and gives a lovely squishy feel, too, without the fiddley-ness of Brioche.  Please feel free to share why you love Brioche and what you love about it.  I want to love it, too, but right now, I just dont get it.  Thanks!

I think its the coloured pattering you find in the newer brioche patterns.  I do colour work but think perhaps trying brioche would be fun.
