Easy ITH (in the hoop) embroidery machine design recommendations please

Hello all,

How are we today? My pre-teen daughter is interested in using the embroidery machine for in the hoop projects (make gifts for siblings, friends, teachers etc), and I am wondering if there are any good, yet simple, designs out there that you might recommend to us please? Preferrably something that can be done in one hooping rather than multiples to save frustration for her while shes learning.

I have come across the Dolls and Daydreams "Quick Kids" designs, and they would be absolutely suitable, but they are so expensive and I rarely ever see them go on sale so I just cant afford them :( Our dollar is so weak right now too, which only makes them even less affordable.... so if theres a sale on somewhere I would appreciate that too please :D
