Hello there I hope you are all wonderful. I so admire the Russian designers and the most beautiful dolls they create. My only problem is that I have always knitted patterns that are flat. Knitting in the round is something that scares me terribly. Could I perhaps ask if there is a really good beginner pattern that you ladies could recommend.  Thank you so very much

I learned by watching videos on youtube.  Theres several there, and you can pause and rewind as necessary to get the hang of it.

Teach Yourself Visually Knitting will give you a good start for knitting in the round if you prefer books. Or the Circular Knitting Workshop focuses on exercises that takes you from a beginner to the confidence of larger pieces

Go to youtube and look for verypinkknits videos, she has tutorials for dpns (double pointed needles) and how to knit in the round. Watch a lot of vids and you will see its just knitting, no big issue flat or in the round :)
