Downsizing files

Hi
I need help, after struggling a few hours yesterday in order to compress a file to the maximum of 10 MB requested here.
How would you part a large book into several pieces and make them a rar item...?

Split in more files, like Winrar part 1, part 2, 3 or more, then it will work. :)

Yes... but I dont know how to do it..
I know only to open this RAR files, I have no idea how to make them...

Using this method which is practical in any Windows, you can part only to 5MB and then the next option is 100Mb etc - Which usually causes too many RAR or Zip files.
As I dont like that other members do this to me, I dont like to do it to others (as far as I understand you have to pay coins for every single part)... How can I part it into less files...? Thank you!
