Whats you favorite yarn and where do you buy it from?

I generally use Red Heart and I buy it from Amazon, but I am not sure its the best way

I love knitting with alpaca wool. We breed alpacas but I am hopeless at spinning wool so I pay someone to do it for me.

I like Caron better, it is softer. Bernat value yarn is softer then red heart too. i watch for sales and stock up. get on the mailing lists for Yarninspirations, they tell you when on sale :) Yarninspirations actually bought out Red heart this week!

I buy various brand names from local stores but  I love angora yarn. Used to buy from eBay years ago at cheap prices. Got a 500 gram (1/2 lb) in white on a cone for $25 - 100% angora. Just beautiful. Also bought from France for cheap prices. That was back in the early eBay days. I love any soft yarn. I use Redheart and Bernat a lot for making toys. Michaels is cheaper than Amazon if you can use coupons
