I uploaded a crochet pattern and asked for a price of 300 gold coins, but when you published it it says only 50 gold coins. I am too new to send you messages (have no permission for that) so I must write to you here. I hope you can help me, because as I understand I am allowed to set the price I want. Why was it changed?

Being at level 0, the maximum price you can put is 50 coins for one pattern.

Thank you for answering me! But where can I read about that rule? I had no idea... And I guess you cant withdraw the pattern? I think I have read everything I could find about the rules and procedures, but nothing is clear to me...

You can read about it in the post called "Attachment prices", here: http://www.pindiy.com/thread-354266-1-1.html

You will not be able to charge 300 coins until you are at level 3, and I seriously doubt that moderators will "withdraw" your pattern - I dont think that has ever happened

My thoughts exactly, more downloads at less GC will get better results.  Frankly, I dont download anything over 100 GC because I think its just being greedy.  Even the patterns I pay $$$$ for I only post the most expensive ones for 100 GC.  I think that makes it doable for most people and if someone was having a problem getting to 100 GC I would SEND them the GC to download (which Ive done for new members regardless of what they are downloading).  I know its not real money but it can take a long time to get 300 GC plus the 30 the site gets.  Again, just my opinion and Ive been a member for quite awhile watching the posts go from nothing, slowly rising to 100, 200, 300 GC so I guess Im pretty old school.  You, Puppy, are always generous with your Red Cards, much appreciated.

Well said TheKnitter :) It is not a nice feeling when you are new and with the crazy prices you feel as if you can never save enough for just one pattern. Cheaper is better for all!  Post time 2019-9-11 09:42
