When We Purchase Patterns w/Gold, its JUST Gold Right? Is their Point Cost Too?

While roaming around here, Ive run into confusing information regarding pattern purchases.

My question is, are we docked points if we download a pattern? Or is it just the gold we earn that is taken?

Sorry if that seems like a dumb question, just...I ran into conflicting information and am now wondering. Thanks =)

Did you want to ask: "Do I reduce my Credits if I download any patterns?"

No, you are not reducing. They (your Credits = 11 now) remain unchanged even if you spend all of your Gold Coins (=1439 now).

Gold coins are the currency of this site and are used for "buying" patterns.

Points determine your level for hourly tasks and reading permission and so on.  Members level up when they are active by posting new patterns and replying to threads.

Its only gold that is taken, from my understanding you can only earn points/credits not lose them
