Tips for making crinoline doilies

Hey everyone!!
New member here! I am still learning how to use this site so bear with me :D I am starting my very first Crinoline doll doily and I was wondering if anyone had any pointers? Ive only ever made one doily and that was last week lol! I want to use size 30 crochet thread and a 1.50mm hook. Any tips would be appreciated!!
