Separate Category for Amigurumi

While looking through the crochet pattern section for new inspirations I was overhelmed by the large number of amigurumi patterns that have appeared in the last couple of days. Dont get me wrong I love amigurumi but it seems that the rest of the crochet projects, blankets, shawls, sweater, etc are lost in the middle of so many toys.

Maybe it is worth creating a separate section just for amigurumi. A place for everything and everything in its place.

Just a suggestions to those running the site.

I agree.  So many different crafts and offsets of crafts deserve their own subset directory or directories.
But we dont know how that will affect the servers and how they would go about moving all of the files into the separate categories.

I definitely agree with having sub groups within crochet pattern. Its really hard to find or separate blankets from all the toys that are displayed in that group. Really discouraging when you have to sift through pages & pages :(

Ive tried using the search function to limit it to blankets etc but not everything is titled correctly and thus, some blanket patterns are missed out from the search. Is there anyway to add a filter to the search results or even in the Crochet pattern board?

I was just thinking the same - I crochet but do not do amigurumi. Everytime I go to do a search my mind goes blank and I cant think of what to search for! Sometimes it helps to just browse for insipiration :)
