How do i search for a pattern that i dont know the name of it ?

Hello everyone , i know it seems a stupid question but im wondering if i ever wanted a pattern but i dont know the name of it or the artists or the creator of the pattern , how do i request a bounty for it when i know nothing about it ?

should i post the picture of the project here and see if someone know the name of the pattern ?

im thinking if theres a thread that we can share an image of the pattern that we r looking for and we dont the name of it or the creator and see if someone know it , i think thats will be very helpful, cause sometimes it takes hours to search for it but its hard to find the name of the pattern or the creator , this way others who know it can help .

so what do you think ?

I would hate to see someone post a bounty for an item that is already on here.   Sharing the picture would help her find the designer and possibly lead to a bounty,
or some generous member may have it  and upload it for the site and its members.

You can do an image search on google that may help you find the pattern.

Long time ago I have wanted to offer (especially to beginners or fans of another craft) that they could share the image of the pattern they are looking for. Perhaps others, who knows, can help.
I can help in the "Cross stitch Patterns Scanned" section, but I will never find anything in "Crochet Patterns" or "Knitting Patterns", even if I really want something.  :lol
