Happy Passover and Happy Easter

In this trying time, we still celebrate our traditions.  Today, were having a roasted turkey, baked potatoes and canned corn.  This is not the usual Easter menu, and well be celebrating with just my husband and myself.  We wont get to see the kids today, but well facetime.  We werent able to go to church.  We didnt color eggs or get some delicious bakery goods for dessert.  But, we are safe and have been spared the carnage of the virus thus far.  I thought the photo was comical; it made me smile.  I wish you all safety.

Thank so much DMCrafter :loveliness: I am glad to hear you are safe and doing well. Know how hard it is to be separated from those we love and the activities that make our heart happy. Your picture made me smile! We are celebrating just my husband and I. Lots of phone calls and texts to friends and family. We got to talk to our neighbors who dropped off half a cheese cake, yumm, and chatted for about an hour in the driveway all 6 feet apart. At least it was nice to be around people. We live across the lake from each other so we try to wave and yell so we all dont feel so alone. their kids love that waving like crazy, yelling across the lake and drawing all over the driveway is something the adults are doing too ;P As long as we are all staying healthy and care about each other.. well get through this.

This Easter I will be spending it the first time away from my MOM. She lives in another city and we are confined to our city of residence due to Corona... so a differente Easter but a safe one. Happy Easter everyone. Stay Safe. Stay Inside.
