I just downloaded, well tried to any way, 2 charts in rar form and one PDF from the forum. As you see I get these error messages from chrome. The PDF however downloaded just fine. Has anyone else experienced this? I see that World Of Disney II had been downloaded 17 times at the time of the screen shot and Mary (Marie) Silhouette 22 times. Ive never experienced this before.
Hi Duckeyd,
The JPG is not really clear. But from what I can make out it is not the file itself that Chrome is warning you for but the fact that you are downloading from this site.
If that is the case go to the settings of your Chrome browser and find the spot where you put PinDiy down as a safe website (to download from).
:loveliness: Good Luck!
It is because it is not a normal recognised file type like pdf or jpeg etc, it is to help the average internet user not to download malicious files (which rars can contain), when you click the arrow it should allow you to choose to continue downloading and keep the file. It is to stop people from downloading things unintentionally.
When you click the arrow you can only get more information, it doesnt let you continue to download. I just switch to another browser when i find something i want to download.

So I fixed it by:
Click on "Not secure" that is in the url box, at the top left.
Then go to site settings, on the bottom. This opens a new tab.
Go to the new tab, now look for "Insecure content". Set this to "Allow":
Now downloading rar files works for me.
@Miepie, The red arrow was my own it was not part of the errors. I added it because I couldnt see the files without it so I didnt think others would either. I was able to download the files using an old version of internet explorer. Then scan them using my anti virus and nothing was found. No malware or virus of any kind. I have to wonder if its just chrome. Thank you for your help
