Viewing new post

Is there a way you could change the algorithm in showing projects with original post dates not with the reply dates? When i clicked on the photos under stitched diary under latest tab, it shows the photo of the latest updated reply but the project like done last 2012.. i want to view latest finished or processing crafts not latest replies…
