Pattern Maker 4 - How to do three-quarter stitch?

Wondering if it is possible to do three-quarter stitch in PM4, it seems you cannot do two separate threads into the same hole.

In PCStitch, three-quarter stitches do render as trianges and only displaying them as stitches instead of solid/blocks shows the same shape as PM4 - 4 smaller squares.

I did see at least one design just opting for two quarter stitches in either corner but it looks like it's missing stitches.

Unless I do three-quarter stitches wrong and I am not meant to do the half part twice when two colours meet :o , but then what decides which colour I stitch more of?

I don't think you can have the triangle in PM4.  Regarding three-quarter stitches in general you need to decide which feature is in the foreground, eg  if it house against sky the house colour in three-quarter and the sky in quarter (hope this helps).

Thank you very much, if you're wondering what piece it is specifically, it's https://www.pindiy.com//forum.ph ... posttime=1737617199 where I think any three quarter stitch will be covered by backstitching, I'll keep that in mind when I plan to make my next piece

This is just me, but if there's backstitching I see if two quarter stitches will do.

Good tip for saving floss, although back stitch often seems to be black (as in DMC 310) which I heard is thinner than other floss colours and I would have thought it would be noticeable
