I recently got into crochet and I am finding my usual knitting cotton yarn (usually I'm using Lily's Sugar n Cream) isn't really doing it for me. It keeps splitting and it feels like an exercise in frustration! Due to some sensory issues, acrylic usually gives me the heebie jeebies unless in a blend, so I've been avoiding it. I know lion 24/7 and carron cotton cakes are popular, but I find myself really drawn to the bright colors of like, the mandala yarn by lion or the red heart all in one flower power yarn where there's a variety of sorta blendy colors. I was looking at Peaches & Crème and Premier yarns but honestly I can't tell if it will be good to work with or not! It's also hard to tell how the product will look as I'm having issues finding what the yarn looks like in use.

Do you use ravelry at all? If you search up the specific yarn, on the yarn page, you can see project ...

I didn't think of that, I'll try that!

I really like the cotton and wool blend yarns. Cotton alone is not fun for me

Definitely go on Pinterest or somewhere similar and find maybe an influencer who uses the yarn you’re curious about and see what it looks like. I know some of lion brand pound of love always splits on me but some colors don’t. It’s definitely hit and miss  in the yarn world
