Why do my pictures disappear when I upload the patterns?

Over the past few days, I have been trying my best to upload patterns to complete bounties and everytime I put the photos into the album and press to insert them into the post they disappear? I have been trying my best to make sure there are images attached to the post but some never stick or they duplicate when I try to add them again. Also, when I look on my post, it shows an image next to it, but when I go to the new resources page, there is no picture sometimes. Please help! I know I'm getting on the mods nerves. (I'm sorry, I'm trying my best to figure it out, y'all).

Images need to be less than 600kb and should be in jpg or png format. Webp images will not show up on the main forum list pages. Also, make sure to use the "Image" button to attach your images

Once you have posted a new pattern when you go back into it the picture and file will not show until it has been moderated. Hope this helps  :)

Welcome to PinDIY love! As bs.frog said, the mods made it so when you upload something, they check it first to make sure nothing bad ends up at the site. It can be frustrating, but rest assured that once you post, and they check it, the post will be moved into the correct forum and the images will be exactly where you put them :) Thanks for solving bounties!

600kb? but it says "Not more than 100MB" on the add image button. I'm confused.
