Hello my dears, how are you all!

I do hope you are keeping well.

I have a health question and I was wondering if you knew what would help.
I had a scan a few days ago and they found a kidney stone.
I have to travel quite far to the city hospital and sadly I have no one to take me and the buses here are terrible service.

I was wondering, has anyone had one and how to pass it without surgery.
It's quite large over 5mm and it's stuck.
I can still pee, but the pain in my kidney is awful.

Do you know if a way to get rid of them naturally or with medicines you can buy online?

I'm very sorry to hear that! Kidney stones can be sooo painful!

The best advice I can give you is to drink about three liters of water. You can add lemon to the water and this helps too. But, I would recommend you speak with your doctor, specially if it is stuck. Passing them is very painful and 5 mm is large! If you can't travel to the hospital, maybe you could call them? Some doctors do online consults.

Smaller kidney stones up to 5 mm are usually excreted normally within 4-6 weeks. Larger stones must be surgically removed or broken up using a laser.

Drink plenty of fluids (at least 3 liters) to dilute the urine. In addition, plenty of exercise can help the stone to be excreted spontaneously.
However, this can also cause pain, as the female urethra is only 4-6 mm in diameter. And an infection afterwards is not pleasant either.

Take the strain on yourself and take the bus to the clinic.
They will help you there, and hopefully you will be pain-free again afterwards.
