im planning to knit the day dreamer cardigan! any tips for the double knit plackett

also this is going to be my first time double knitting! should i go for button holes or clasp buttons

Hi! Nice choice! Honestly, I like button holes because I like picking out really nice buttons for my items. The double knitting is stupid easy, but it's a chore because it essentially doubles the stitches in your needles! Once you get used to it though, it's like stockinette, mindless yet enjoyable.

Trust me you'll do great! The only bad part is how long it can feel like it takes, but you'll see it's lovely. It feels so poofy and soft, even if you do it in cotton yarn!
