About pattern?

I wonder if pattern trading from personal collection is allowed here? Like the pattern they bought personally and it doesn't exist here? Just a random thought :>


If anyone has done it before, lmk!!! Would love to do it too if it's allowed ofc <3

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Lots of members share patterns they actually bought with real money. They share the patterns from their own personal collections with everyone on the site. Only patterns that do not exist here, are posted. Anything posted that is already on the site gets recycled.

I think I am missing something in your question. Can you please explain further? or give a more detailed example?

Yes, it's allowed! Just make sure the pattern is not posted already by someone else.

Of course we share patterns we bought ourselves.
How else would it work? There would always be the same patterns circlin' around & even those would have been bought at some point.

I think I get what you mean but I dont think such a trade will be allowed that way here.
The only way that would work is to take such a trade elsewhere, off the forum.
Alternatively the pattern would have to be uploaded here as what you're asking my be frowned upon by the admins here.

If there is something specific you would like, you have to request that through the bounty area and perhaps the original.person may upload it to claim the bounty offered, but  you may be waiting a while.
The only other option would be to Pm the person who.has the pattern you like and ask if they'd be willing to share off the forum, like through email or large file transfer, but again that may get you into trouble with the admins as I think it will go against forum rules.

Its a good idea for the odd chart if a person is willing, but the forum also allows for anonymity,.sharing in that way may not be in your or the other person's best interests.
