This super scrunchy cowl is knit using a fun-to-work double cable to create a fabric that’s completely reversible.
Cowl is knit seamlessly in the round from bottom to top.
Finished Size:
29” / 73.5 cm around by 10” / 25.5 cm deep.
To modify circumference, work more or fewer stitch repeats. To modify depth, work more or fewer row repeats.

Size 9 US / 5.5 mm circular needles, 2 cable needles or double-pointed needles.

Sunday Knits 5 ply (light worsted weight) in Eden (merino), Nirvana (merino cashmere), Angelic (merino angora) or Brigadoon (merino tweed); 137 yd / 125 m per 13⁄4 oz / 50 g skein: 3 skeins. Shown in Eden lagoon.
For a softly draping cowl as shown, the fabric must be loosely knit. The yarn used here typically works up at 17- 18 sts per 4” using US needles size 7-8. Substitute any similar-gauged worsted weight yarn.
