Chickens - November/December 2025

Chickens, a bimonthly magazine from the editors of Hobby Farms, provides expert advice about the nutrition, health, care and comfort of keeping a single backyard bird or a large country flock, as well as the care, collection and consumption of their eggs and meat. Each issue includes profiles of chicken keepers, coop maintenance and design tips, poultry breed descriptions, predator prevention ideas, health and nutrition articles, recipes, and news related to America’s favorite livestock. Chickens magazine targets people involved in the care and raising of chickens and other poultry, for eggs and meat or simply as pets, including country farmers, hobby farmers, urban farmers and everyone in-between.
