Are ads mandatory, safe, and do I have to watch them?

I don't see any ads at all.
I use Firefox and uBlock Origin on my PC and the Brave browser on my iPad, which already has a built-in ad blocker.

I realize that advertising is important for website operators. But when there's too much of it or the site becomes unusable, they've clearly gone too far.
I looked at the site without Adblocker earlier and closed it again very quickly. I've never seen such excessive advertising before.

There are tons of free adblockers, and changing the browser you use might help as well. I have yet to see an ad on this site and I'm not a VIP.

I’d like to know this also. I’m getting so many ads now even on VIP ?

I haven't yet seen 1 ad on PinDIY, but then I have at least 3 Adblockers on my pc . . . LOL

OMG I can't even use the site anymore. As I type it is making me watch an ad every 10 seconds to allow access.  :(

Yeah I’ve noticed that as well only started recently but It’s becoming a real annoyance. If there is a way to block/stop I’d to know too.

I see the ads have come back again today, the site is impossible to use, they pop up every minute or so.

I was coming here to look and see if anyone else had this problem! So annoying I really have to watch an ad to post? Ummmm don't like at all!
