200 - 200 - 250gms. double knitting weight yarn (U.S. sport weight AUS. 8ply). for each set.
8 - 8.5 - 9mts. eyelet knitting in lace for lace sets. (The peach set took 10 - 10.5 - 11, as extra
rows of lace were worked to make it fuller. All details are in the pattern, and lace with ribbon is
explained below).
Pair of 4.00mm. knitting needles, (old no. 8’s) (U.S. no. 6). Pair of 3.75mm. knitting needles,
(old no. 9’s) (U.S. no. 5). Pair of 3.25mm. knitting needles, (old no. 10’s) (U.S. no. 3).
5 buttons, (or 6 buttons if you are putting one on the bodysuit front). 3mts. x 23/25mm. wide
ribbon. Decorations as desired.
TENSION.
Using 4.00mm. needles and stocking stitch, 22sts. and 28 rows measure 10cms. (4 inches) square.
SIZES.
Small to fit 14 inch chest, a small or lower birth weight baby, or a 16/18 inch long dainty reborn
doll. Medium to fit 16 inch chest, a newborn baby, or a 20/22 inch long reborn doll.
Large to fit 18 inch chest, a 3/6 month baby, or a chunky full sized reborn doll.
