Easy to make xsd file if pattern is pattern keeper usable?

I don't have pattern keeper, but I'm wondering if a paper chart is pattern keeper comparable, does that mean you just scan the pdf into pattern keeper and it can automatically save an xsd file for sharing?

I just tested - pattern maker doesn't work with symbol patterns, only with color ones.
Looks like there is no easy solution to convert PDF pattern to the XSD. You can put PDF into Pattern Keeper and work from there. though.

There are some projects for recognizing charts and converting them to digital format, but they are very technical and hard to use.

Pattern Keeper is for Android only. You better use Pattern Maker for this.

To make the pattern digital in pattern maker, you need to manually recreate it by hand. Basically, add all the colors, the symbols, and paint it in yourself. That's why we have the term 'repaint' for the patterns that are manually digitized into XSD format.
