The Arlo Vest sewing pattern is a modern take on a fully-lined vest perfect for both formal and everyday looks.
It features a row of tiny buttons, crew neckline, optional faux welt pockets, fish-eye darts and a beautiful curved hem that opens up at waist level.
All these details combined create the most effortless French girl look. This project is entirely serger-free!
Fabric
Recomendations:
The Arlo Vest will look great in a light to medium weight woven fabric, such as cotton, linen, viscose blends for the main fabric.
For the lining, use a lightweight fabric such as a cotton or viscose voile, lawn or batiste. I recommend using something similar in
colour to your main fabric, just in case your lining peeks out.
If you are using a loosely woven fabric that is prone to fraying, consider omitting the welt pockets or interfacing the welt pocket
area on the front pattern piece (B).
Mod Note: Includes instructions, and A4/US Letter, Projector, and A0 layered pattern printables. |
