Scrap yarn V-neck

I am currently free-handing a vest to use some scrap yarn I had. I wanted to use all my white yarn, so I decided to do a vest because there wasn't enough yarn for a sweater. Apparently it wasn't enough even for a vest and I had to add a bit of purple yarn for the ribbing. At first I wanted to follow a pattern, but then I realized that if I didn’t make this a V-neck instead of a crew neck, I would lose yarn chicken. Maybe it's not perfect, but at least I got to use all of my white yarn. I didn't want to use the purple one though, because I need that for another sweater, but I guess it's fine.
