This kit originally had black aida and there is a photo of the aida with a whitish halo around the dog. How that was achieved I dont know but it sets off the black stitching against the black aida. I think you could maybe achieve a similar aeffect with some pale half stitches around the outside or use a lighter aida, maybe grey. For lovers of French Bulldogs obviously
