They are not demanding you buy crypto coins. It's just an option they are giving. I too am not going to work this task. I applied it so it doesn't bother me on the task page and is in the awaiting tasks box - put out of the way.
Don't be sorry. I'm also one of them now, as there is no other relevant option left.
I also try and share patterns as much as I can, but making GC by sharing patterns is ridiculously slow.
Agreed. Pretty please with sugar on top, could you reconsider bringing the Youtube task back at 500 coins?

Hello :) I understand your worries, but until the site remains free and crypto is merely another option of purchasing tokens, I don't see any problem :) It is a little harder to gain pins, that's true, but there are still ways :) (as pointed above, there's a new task). Rest assured, we are all here for the free patterns and I'm sure the owners of the site are aware that the majority would flee if anything changes drastically
Let's enjoy and be grateful for what we have for now and we'll worry when/if the time comes!

& while you logged in & logged out you didn't note that the task you mentioned is a daily log in bonus & you'll get the coins only once in 24 hours?
btw, @parinbanou is right, without the YT task it's hard to get coins especially for new users & people who can't be here 24/7 .
This site lives from its users.
If we, the users, don't feel comfortable, heard or welcomed anymore, they'll look for other opportunities or simply stay away.
The only relevant option left to make GC aside buying crypto is to participate in the forum. Either share patterns that are not there (if you have any) or... posting anywhere, anything, every one minute.
People spamming every new post with "thank you"'s yet wasn't what I liked the most in this forum but here we go.

I saw that there is a login bonus
