I love knitting triangular shawls… It only takes few seconds to cast-on. You get familiar with the pattern pretty quickly, cause there are only a few repeats in the beginning. And then you get almost sick of the main pattern, you get a new treat - a border, and maybe another one… So, I’ve decided to design my own, with nupps, no less… Fragaria - is a genus of flowering plants, commonly known as strawberries. As you knit this shawl, you will wonder where are those strawberries? There are only flowers… The magic begins when you turn it upside down. - Yarn: Any laceweight yarn (440 yd / 50g)
- Needles: US #5 / 3.75 mm circular needles
- Notions: Stitch markers, darning needle
- Size: wingspan 56” depth 27” (wet blocked and relaxed)
The shawl can be worked from written instructions or charts. You can do as many repeats of the main pattern as you want. Pattern available in two formats: compact (2 pages, 11 pt) and large print (10 pages, 20 pt) - instructions in larger print format ( this version is better for those who uses portable devices like tablets and e-readers; also for those knitters who have difficulties reading small font on paper)
