Follow these steps to upload your patterns successfully:

1. Prepare Your Files

• Format: Combine multiple pattern files/PDFs into a single .zip or .rar archive.
• Size: Each uploaded file/archive can be up to 100MB.
• Security: Remove any security protections or password locks on your PDFs so they are accessible to other members.
• Images: Prepare your pattern cover image as a JPG or PNG (WebP images often do not work).
  

2. Format the Title

PinDIY has strict rules for post titles to make searching easier.

• Title Format: Company Name - Designer Name - Pattern No, if available - Pattern Name - Available Sizes
• Avoid: Do not use symbols like #, $, %, *, &, or quotation marks in the title.
  

3. Upload to the Forum

• Navigate to the PinDIY Uploads Forum.
• Click the blue "New" button in the upper left corner to create a new thread.
• From the dropdown menu on the upper left, select "Sewing/Tailoring" as the section.
• Add the Cover Image: Upload your JPG/PNG cover image by clicking the "Image" button. Do not drag and drop the image into the description box.
• Add the Pattern File: Attach your .zip archive by clicking the "Attach" button.
• Set a price for your pattern in "Pins".
• Click "Submit". A site moderator will review and approve the pattern before it goes live on the sewing forum.
