The bounty owner decided to set the best answer and gave the reward to a random member who replied on the bounty thread.  Post time 2025-12-13 00:10

@iam.ameena

I also bought one or two patterns that I asked for before but of course shared it afterwards & thereyby solved my own bounties.
But you set up a bounty, asking for share, but when you bought it yourself, you don't wanna share?
Uhm, that's interesting!

Hm, not sure what you mean?

If there was reward given but the pattern wasn't posted, I'm sure it's a mistake
Maybe the one who requested the pattern hit "best answer" accidentally?
Maybe ask @anniekins about. She surely knows, what was going on.

Edit: see annie's comment below.

One person posted a bounty. This person said the bounty was solved, no pattern upload needed (maybe this person bought the pattern). The bounty owner got their coins back.

This happens, not very often, but it does happen.

I'd like to do the same with a couple of Bounties that I posted.  I didn't buy the charts, but really don't want them anymore, such a long time has passed since I posted.  Not sure how to do it though.  Hope someone can help.

Sometime i open the bounty but it takes time to get solved.

So i bought the pattern already.
But when i asked to cancel my bounty because i already bought myself.
they said i must upload it first the pattern to solved the bounty like usual.

How to solved the bounty without upload the pattern then?

It's a matter of courtesy to share with our members if you purchased the pattern, but this is what this particular bounty owner did.

haha don't get me wrong.
I asked about the bounty rules when I first joined.
I was told that the bounties I opened couldn't be canceled. I followed the existing rules.
I've uploaded hundreds of patterns, including my own bounty pattern.

I just shocked when I read that bounties could be completed without uploading a pattern.
That's why I asked.

I wish I could cancel some of my bounties. I make the bounties very high, but end up buying  the whole magazine they are in and cannot upload a physical sewing pattern.
