The equation for how Credits are calculated is:
Total Credits = (Number of replies × 0.1) + (Number of Threads × 0.26) + (Number of Digests × 5) + (Hours of Online Time × 2.6)

So, spend time on the site, post threads, and reply in threads. Digests are awarded by the site staff for the newest magazines, books, and sometimes patterns.
