Im wondering if most patterns are made by danish people. it really seems that way. anyone agree?

Yes but Norvegian and Swedish too ! I oftern have vacations in Scandinavian, specially in Norway, that's a dream for knitters ! Yarnshops everywhere, knitters everywhere !
