Eagle feathers are sacred talismans. (It is illegal to own a real one in the United States without special permission.)

Finished measurements:

Before felting: 8 inches x 2.5 inches measured flat.

After felting: 5 inches x 1.75 inches measured flat.

Yarns used: fingering/4-ply weight WOOL such as:

Knit Picks Palette 50 g - 231 yds - 211 m, 100% Peruvian

Highland Wool. 1 ball of each of the following:

MC: Cream SKU: 23730

CC1: Asphalt Heather SKU: 24243

Be sure to use 100% wool or another felting fiber, and do a Dtest swatch first to be sure it will felt.
