Volume 1, Fundamentals of Garment Design, introduces essential general knowledge and skills necessary for garment making.

The English textbooks are exact translations of their Japanese counterparts and were designed to be easy to use by Bunka Gakuen students wanting to go beyond Japan's shores, as well as to act as a bridge between Bunka Gakuen and students studying fashion elsewhere in the world.
