Hello fellow knitters, crocheters, crafters. I think I got to the point where I am ready to sell or give away (but preferably sell) some of my stash. Today I've sold a couple of books on knitting. The other day a woman relieved me of 4 cakes of gradient yarn. I decided, that I have too much to use up in a life time, so I'd better make some money out of something I'm definitely not gonna use. It's sad, of course. But what a crafter to do? Lack of free time, loads of choirs. The thing is I am getting tired of the yarn, fabrick, beads, needles that is lying around ? Tell me I'm not alone, please. Tell me decluttering of your stash is not a crime against crafting gods ?

Giving stuff away, yeah if I see someone wanting something and I can give it to them. Selling I couldn't be bothered with.

I have loads of cross stitch charts, but it's such a hassle selling stuff on Ebay and people aren't willing to pay a decent price.  Then there is postage on top, which is ridiculous nowadays.  I'd be better just donating to a charity shop.  Good luck disposing of your stuff.

Too much work to sell it on internet, but from times to times there are some local markets where crafters sell their stash, at least in France. For now, I don't really have a stash anyway :)

If you no longer get joy from your stash, of course it’s okay to sell or give it away.  Hobbies aren’t meant to create stress, they’re meant to be fun.
