Jolie Poncho is worked top down. First, a high ribbed collar is worked and folded double. Thework is then continued in the round in stockinette stitch, with a textured pattern centered atthe front and back. Increases are worked evenly on every other round on each side of thechart - this shapes the poncho and creates a natural, elegant drape over the shoulders. Thepiece is finished with a ribbing hem in garter stitch. Alternatively, you may add fringe for abolder look.
