Worked top down in stockinette stitch. Once all parts are complete, stitches are cast on for the underarms, and the knitting is joined and worked straight back and forth. Stitches are then picked up along the armholes to work the armhole edges in the round in 1x1 rib. Stitches are picked up to work the front band in double knitting. The ties are worked in I-cord then sewn to the front band.
