Reading the beautiful picture book ‘The Storm Whale’ by Benji Davies to my little ones over and over again is what inspired me to bring its characters to life.
A holiday to one of the Dutch islands seemed like the perfect moment for this, so, after main character ‘Boy’, this small crochet whale was born.
