Day one of my first HAE attempt. Started to grid it out but I got irritated after the second row.... Never gridded out anything before and I'm going to free hand this one too!

I am making HAED Hannah Lynn - QS Spring explosion Mermaid now :)
It is the first time I have a very nice process and I see the end with a HEAD chart :D I've started some before but never finished..
I don't even mark it... I used 18 ct aida as I am not a linen kind of stitcher. Don't feel comfortable enough trying such a big project on linen. Especially as I haven't stitched anything but tiny

That was my idea too. Only 80 stitches wide. Only 250 stitches long. Can only work on it on weekends with my job so I spend a lot of time stitching when I can.
