Well, I'm still on my Just Nan humbugs kick!  This is the latest one in her collection called "Porch Mice" and I just finished it yesterday.  Another one that will probably be given to my other granddaughter for her birthday.  Her sisters got the other two and I have none for myself!

Anyway, just wanted you to see how it turned out.  This time I didn't have to take it apart because I didn't know how to make a triangle, lol!

Very nice.  I like the way it's finished,  and the little beads.

Thank you very much! I'm not at all creative, so all of the details come from the designer's embellishment packs. You can't usually buy the packs without the patterns which makes it even harder. I  Details Reply Post time 2013-8-6 11:02

Loving the mice especially in the 2nd pic! But what exactly is a humbug?

Comments

Someone told me that a humbug was some type of English candy that was maybe shaped as a triangle. I'm not sure, I just try to stitch the sides together right, lol!  Details Reply Post time 2013-8-7 02:34
Thank you R Lee! I didn't know what one was either until someone on here explained that it is a three-sided stitched triangle that's sewn together. In England I think, they called them humbugs....st  Details Reply Post time 2013-8-6 11:09

Thank you very much!  I'm not at all creative, so all of the details come from the designer's embellishment packs.  You can't usually buy the packs without the patterns which makes it even harder.  I just have to try and match up other beads, etc. with what looks similar.

I've only done one kit with beads, I really liked it. But it was just a small wall hanging. I may try to find something like the one you did.  Details Reply Post time 2013-8-6 22:07
