I LOVE this stitch for starting threads, but I haven't been able to use it successfully for ending them. At least it has reduced *half* the mess on my backs!

I have tried this but for some reason I can see the stitch under my crosses. Maybe it's my imagination or maybe I don't pull them tight enough.
