When I was a kid, I used to love the snowman. Every year, around Christmas time, my mum would pick out all the Christmas video's and we'd watch them all.
The Snowman, was my favourite. And I was thinking of what I could make for Christmas last year, and thought of The Snowman.. So I searched around to see what I could pick up, and I picked up The Snowman & James up for around £7.00 - £10.00 was very impressed as it was the cheapest I could find and no one outbid me neither..
I hadn't bought a kit outright and stitched it, normally I buy charts and then the threads etc. so it was a nice change to not have to pay out over and over and over for everything lol
Took me a few days, mainly because again like my other completed stitches I hammered at it, and I couldn't put it down. What I did for this one was the same with what I had done for the Noah's Ark. I made a photocopy of the original and marked where I had been, what I had done etc. and worked around that.
This is the back of my work, before I done the backstitch:
This is the completed piece, once I had done the back stitch
I love taking pictures of my work, and I love seeing all the different changes as it progresses.
