Did anyone use normal amigurumi pattern in a large thread, for example with a t-shirt yarn?

Yes, I used a different thread thickness / wool for the same pattern. If you have doubts that it can go wrong, do it quietly that has always been good for me and it does not have to be bad for you!

and it's the case for thinner yarn as well. I use Gazzal Baby Cotton and ithe result is always smaller than the size given in the pattern but I love the result. I saw some are using embriodery threads for making tiny toys as well.

Yes I have done this with super bulky and t-shirt yarn.  Have to use a larger hook as well but they turn out great, just larger than the pattern says.

i used 10mm hook for a baby blanket yarn so that i could make a big plush for a child instead of the small sized amigurimi ones they are now a lot more huggable

If you would like to have a much bigger result, it can be a good idea. Though I haven't tried tshirt yarn, only bulky yarn. :)
