By "free pattern" I mean the patterns which can be downloaded for free on the internet. Another case the price can be lower is that if you upload more than one file at a thread and charge more than you can. There's a rule about the maximum price you can charge according to your level. The forum will correct it automatically if you upload one file per thread.
About the amount that you'll get, it'll be a bit lower because of the forum's tax.
