Hi Mal! The group has been quiet yes, I wish more people came and talked here! So I love this initiative!

I'm currently not knitting anything, rather, I'm making a little knitting box from an old wine wood box. It's big enough to fit all the bits and bobs I use (or plan to). Before I purchased any yarn, I thought I should have a neat space to put away all my tools, so I stop shoving everything in my knitting bag LOL

After I'm finished with this project, I'm planning on making the Marie Clutch by PetiteKnit as a gift for my sister. The little fashion diva bought a really nice, BIG purse... with no pockets inside! XD She's still happy with her purchase but made a little comment in passing about how it'dd be nice to have a smaller bag or something to separate her things inside and keep it neat... So here I come to the rescue! This pattern is neutral enough to suit her taste, although I can't decide the color. Black for a chic look or tan/sand to compliment the bag and show off the texture? I'm not sure!
