Gold coin issue

I signed in ( +50) did my tasks (+5) (+13?) but when I looked it was -4 now I am at +14 why are coins not adding up right ?

Hi.

I think that can happen if you do not have enough coins to download something, but you click to download it anyway. The remaining amount of coins you need to pay will be deducted once you get more coins.

Example:

You have 60 coins.
You want to download something that costs 70 coins for the uploader, plus 30 coins for the forum (download fee). The system will deduct the 70 coins for the uploader, and you will be left with -10 (minus 10), and you will not be able to download, since you do not have the 30 coins for the download fee. The next time you log in and get coins, the system will deduct the remaining 10 coins.

I hope my explanation makes sense.

Just came to think of something else that may also be the explanation;

when posts that we have replied to (or started) are deleted, we lose the coins we gained for posting to that thread. That could also very well be what happened.
