Hoop Framing

Hi All,
This is the first time Im going to frame my finished cross stitch with embroidery hoop. And Im a bit nervous :D
I have a few questions that I hope you could answer:

• How to make sure that the size fit? do you cut the fabric roundly following the shape of the hoop, or do you put it on the hoop first and then cut it following the shape of the hoop when you finished framing?
• Do you cover the back of the finished cross stitch? I feel that my craft is a bit "naked" when the someone flip it.
• How to protect the finished cross stitch from dust? Do you cover it with plastic, or just vacuum clean it when it looked dusty? (I never tried vacuum cleaning my cross stitch LOL)

and youll find many good tips,

I personally  ironing always  a fleece for the back,
it makes the piece more durable and not naked.


We have lots of experience stitchers and hopefully youll get more good answers
